Modern Korea's Regionalism Ideas Shaping Future East Asian Order
The article examines how modern Korea views regional identity and order in East Asia. It categorizes these views into three main types: realism, liberalism, and constructivism. Realism focuses on alliances and power balance, liberalism on solidarity, and constructivism on creating alternative orders based on trust and cooperation. Realism tends to leave power in the hands of the strong, while liberalism shows the limitations of norms without power. Constructivism, though not fully realized in the past, offers insights for shaping future world and regional orders.
