Improved communication between risk assessors and managers could save lives
The COMRISK project looked at how risk assessors and risk managers communicate during the risk analysis process. They found that clear communication between them is crucial for a successful risk assessment. Problems arise when they don't agree on the risk questions at the start, or when there is a lack of understanding during and after the assessment. The best way to improve communication is for risk assessors and risk managers to have an open dialogue, agree on the assessment's goal, and build trust.
