Transforming urban living: Social factors key to sustainable smart city development
The article discusses how smart cities can be sustainable by considering social factors and citizens' needs. The researchers suggest a socially-oriented smart city model that combines social factors with smart technologies. They applied this approach in the Monirye district in Tehran, Iran, using SWOT and VMOSA analysis. The method helps plan smart cities based on population needs and urban development levels, aiming for sustainable growth that benefits the people living there.
