Eucalyptus Plantation for Pulp Production Proven Economically Viable in Brazil.
The study analyzed the economic viability of growing eucalyptus trees for making pulp in Southern Pará, Brazil. They used financial methods like net present value and internal rate of return to see if the project would be profitable. The results showed that investing in the eucalyptus plantation for pulp production was economically viable. Even with changes in costs and revenue, the project remained profitable.
