The study looked at how different shading materials affect the growth of Korean ginseng plants. They found that plants under a silver-coated shading plate had better chlorophyll fluorescence and photosynthesis compared to those under a polyethylene shade net. The plants also showed higher net photosynthetic rates when exposed to higher levels of light. Overall, the ginseng plants did better under the silver-coated shading plate than the polyethylene shade net.
