Coastal areas worldwide are facing erosion and flooding risks due to climate change and human activities. To better understand and protect these regions, a new method using satellite imagery has been developed to measure beach slopes and sediment sizes. This approach has shown promising results in determining grain sizes on beaches globally, marking a significant advancement in coastal monitoring.
