Transformative leadership boosts commitment in Pakistani companies, innovative culture key.
The study looked at how different leadership styles and organizational cultures affect how committed employees are to their organization in Pakistani manufacturing companies. They surveyed 520 middle and senior managers and found that transformational leadership has a big impact on commitment, while transactional leadership has less impact. Bureaucratic culture has the lowest impact, innovative culture has a medium impact, and supportive culture has the highest impact on commitment. These findings could be useful for developing new leadership and culture models that work well in different countries.
