The study looked at how different types of fertilizers affect the growth and yield of maize in Ethiopia. They tested six combinations of organic and inorganic fertilizers on two maize varieties under irrigation. The results showed that the fertilizer combination F4 (150 kg N +43 kg P +15 t cattle manure) per hectare led to the highest grain yield of 7.77 tons per hectare. The maize variety BH-543 performed better than the local variety, producing 1.21 tons more grain per hectare. This suggests that using F4 fertilizer with BH-543 maize variety is a good choice for growing maize in the Adi-gebaro region.
