Petroleum Consumption Boosts Economic Growth in Ghana, Electricity Conservation Urgently Needed!
The study looked at how energy consumption, specifically petroleum and electricity, affects economic growth in Ghana. They found that while there is no long-term relationship between electricity use and economic growth, there is a positive link between petroleum consumption and economic growth. Economic growth influences electricity consumption, but not the other way around. Petroleum consumption has a significant impact on economic growth in both the short and long term. To support economic growth, Ghana should focus on conserving electricity and ensuring a steady supply of petroleum products.
