85% Value Control: Social Decisions Reveal Preference for Power
The study looked at how people feel about making decisions or letting others decide for them. They found that most people prefer to keep the power to decide rather than delegate it. This preference is influenced by how much they care about the outcome for themselves and others. Interestingly, most people wouldn't even pay to avoid making the decision. The researchers also discovered that the speed of decision-making and where people look or click can show how much they value having the power to decide.
