Personality traits predict academic stress in university students, impacting support services.
The study looked at how different personality traits can predict academic stress in university students in Bayelsa State. They found that a combination of personality traits like neuroticism, extraversion, conscientiousness, and agreeableness can significantly predict academic stress. However, openness to experience did not have a significant impact on predicting stress. The researchers suggest that universities should consider students' personalities when providing support for coping with academic stress.
