Wireless Sensor Networks Guzzle Energy, Threaten Sustainability of IoT
The article compares different methods for connecting data from multiple places in wireless sensor networks. These connections, called joins, can use a lot of energy. While many solutions focus on linking two sets of data, this research looks at ways to work with more than two. It turns out that as you join data from more sources, the energy needed increases a lot. The order in which you do these joins also plays a big role.
