The article discusses the importance of tax disclosure in annual reports of companies in Malaysia. A survey was conducted with various professionals and stakeholders, showing that more tax information should be disclosed to help stakeholders make decisions and assist tax authorities. Current tax disclosure is seen as limited and too technical, but more transparency would be beneficial for understanding companies' tax matters. The study suggests further research on tax disclosure practices in different industries in Malaysia.
