Gender disparity persists in Thai management, women earn less than men
The study looked at why men and women in Thailand earn different amounts in management positions. Women often work in lower-level jobs, but more are now becoming managers. Education and work experience affect earnings for both genders, but women's earnings are also influenced by marital status and willingness to travel for work. In Thailand, women with college degrees still earn less than men. The research aimed to understand what factors impact earnings for men and women in managerial roles in Thailand.
