Suspended sediment rating-curves were evaluated for three large river tributaries to estimate sediment concentrations based on river flow data. The non-linear approach showed the best correlations and accuracy for monthly resolution. Higher temporal resolution requires capturing extreme values to fill information gaps for long-term variability studies.
