Generalized Linear models are often used for data that isn't related, but in health studies, data can be correlated. This study compared two models for correlated data: Generalized Linear Model and Generalized Linear Mixed Model. They found that the Mixed Model had lower errors in parameter estimates compared to the Linear Model, making it better for handling correlated data.
