The study looked at how a marine company in Malaysia manages its suppliers to improve its supply chain. They interviewed people in the Purchasing Department to understand how they choose suppliers for their vessels. The most important factors for selecting suppliers were on-time delivery, quality products, and reliability. The study found that selecting and evaluating suppliers is crucial for a successful supply chain. This research suggests that focusing on supplier selection and evaluation can help organizations achieve excellence in their supply chain.
