Revolutionizing rice farming: Boosting crop nutrient levels and soil health.
A study was done to see how different ways of adding nitrogen to rice plants affect the nutrients in the plants and the soil. They found that using a mix of urea and Azolla microphylla gave the rice plants the most nitrogen. The phosphorus levels in the rice plants didn't change much with the different methods. The rice variety 'HUR-4-3' had the most potassium in the grain and straw. The soil properties didn't change much with the different methods used.
