Researchers studied how different types of fertilizers affect the growth and yield of pearl millet in specific soil types. They found that using a mix of NPK fertilizer and vermicompost resulted in the highest grain yield, while using only vermicompost or farm yard manure led to lower yields. The combination of 50% NPK and 50% vermicompost produced the best results, except for using only NPK. Additionally, the highest uptake of micronutrients was observed when using 100% NPK.
