The researchers studied how to remove dirt from water at Sg. Serai Water Treatment Plant. They tested two chemicals, aluminium sulphate and PAC, to see which one worked better. They found that aluminium sulphate removed 94% of the dirt when the water's pH was adjusted. PAC removed 64% of the dirt without needing pH adjustment.
