New Retail Scale Boosts Indian Lifestyle Retailers' Profitability by 86.90%
Indian brick-and-mortar lifestyle retailers often focus on output-driven measures to evaluate their performance, neglecting important input variables. A study identified 16 key input-driven variables that significantly impact returns on investment, consumer repeat visits, sales personnel orientation, cash flow efficiency, revenue generation, profitability, and overall performance. These variables were found to determine 86.90% of the final output, indicating the effectiveness of the LSRS-b instrument in assessing the retailing performance of organized lifestyle retailers in India.
