Optimal sowing dates boost wheat yield, revolutionizing agricultural productivity.
The study looked at how different planting times and wheat varieties affect the growth and yield of wheat. They planted wheat on three different dates and used three types of wheat seeds. The soil was sandy clay loam with medium nutrients. The wheat planted on November 4th gave the highest grain yield, followed closely by wheat planted on November 19th. Among the wheat varieties, HD-2967 had the highest grain yield. So, planting wheat early in the season and using certain wheat varieties can lead to better wheat yields.
