Higher education levels lead to greater productivity in manufacturing firms
The study looked at how the education level of workers, types of innovation, and company size affect the productivity of manufacturing firms in Peru. They found that higher education levels lead to higher productivity. Companies with product-service innovation are more productive than those with only product innovation. Additionally, larger companies are more productive than small and medium-sized ones. This shows that having well-educated employees and a diverse innovation portfolio can boost a manufacturing firm's performance.
