Building Information Modelling (BIM) can help manage building data throughout its life cycle, including maintenance. The main goal was to integrate BIM with a database for Maintenance Management (MM) in the Italian Public Administration. The researchers developed a procedure to implement innovative tools for managing building processes. By analyzing 450 case studies of school buildings, they found that integrating BIM with a dynamic database can provide a powerful tool for controlling maintenance variables.
