The scientists calculated the maximum spring flood flow of main rivers in Central Kazakhstan. They analyzed flow data from different periods and basins, using statistical methods to estimate water discharge. The study found that most rivers followed a specific frequency curve for spring flow characteristics. By comparing empirical and theoretical curves, they identified the most accurate curve with a Cs/Cv ratio of 2 as the rated value.
