Inefficient Public Administration jeopardizes organizational success by neglecting strategic alignment.
The article measures how well Public Administration aligns its people management with organizational goals. Efficient alignment is crucial for business success. Human resources strategies should come from the overall corporate plan. Recent studies show a shift from control-based to commitment-based strategies. The study looked at 20 government units in Rondônia, Brazil, using a case study and a mathematical model. Results show that Public Administration's alignment of Human Resources with organizational strategy is not efficient.
