The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) aims to boost economic growth in Africa by improving trade between countries. The agreement sets rules for moving goods and services across the continent. However, there are challenges with existing regional economic communities that could affect the success of AfCFTA. The paper questions whether these regional organizations can support continental integration effectively.
