Optimizing Wheat Growth: Higher Yields with Specific Seed Rate and Nitrogen Levels
The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen and seed rates affect the growth and yield of wheat in Telangana. They tested three seed rates and three nitrogen levels over two years. Results showed that using 125 kg of seeds per hectare led to more tillers and panicles, resulting in higher grain yield compared to using 100 kg of seeds. The grain yield was highest when using 125 kg of seeds and 240 kg of nitrogen per hectare. Overall, the combination of 125 kg of seeds and 240 kg of nitrogen produced the best results in terms of grain yield.
