Path coefficient analysis was used to study the effects of different traits on dolichos bean fruit yield. The research found that the weight of 100 seeds had the biggest direct positive impact on green pod yield per plant. Other factors like the number of pods per inflorescence, days to last green pod harvest, and pod length also played a role in determining fruit yield. Interestingly, the incidence of YBMV had an indirect effect on several traits related to fruit yield.
