Maharashtra's Agro-Commodities Production Shows Growth and Instability Over Decades.
The study looked at how food grains production in Maharashtra changed from 1990 to 2013. They found that Wheat, Tur, and Gram production increased a lot, with Tur being the most stable and soybean the most unstable. Tur had the lowest variation in production, while soybean had the highest. Groundnut had the least variation in productivity, while Moong had the most. Overall, there was less variability in production and productivity in the later period compared to the earlier one.
