Salicylic acid boosts mango yield and size, revolutionizing fruit production.
Researchers conducted an experiment to improve mango productivity by spraying silicon and salicylic acid on mango trees. Different treatments were tested, and results showed that spraying with salicylic acid at 2000 ppm led to the highest fruit retention, weight, length, and breadth. Additionally, salicylic acid at 2500 ppm resulted in the highest number of fruits per tree and fruit yield. Overall, salicylic acid at 2000 ppm was found to be the most effective in increasing fruit retention, yield, and size in mango cv. Kesar.
