Boost Potato Yields and Quality with Potassium, Zinc, and Manure!
The study looked at how adding potassium, zinc, and farm yard manure affects the growth, yield, and quality of potatoes. They tested different levels of these nutrients in a field experiment for two years. The results showed that using 80 kg of potassium, 25 kg of zinc, and 10 tons of farm yard manure per hectare led to higher potato yields. Additionally, applying 120 kg of potassium, 10 tons of farm yard manure, and 25 kg of zinc improved the quality of the potatoes. The nutrients also increased the NPK content in the plants and soil. Overall, the best combination for yield and quality was 80 kg of potassium, 10 tons of farm yard manure, and 25 kg of zinc per hectare.
