Farmers in Amravati district see booming soybean and cotton yields, raising hopes for economic growth
The study looked at how different crops have been growing in certain areas of Amravati district over a period of 12 years. They found that the area of major crops like Soybean, Tur, and Cotton has been increasing in some tahsils. Soybean was the most stable crop in Dharni and Bhatkuli, while Kharif jowar was the most stable in Chikhaldara. The area of Cotton showed a trend of land concentration increasing over the years.
