Boosting wheat yields with potassium and zinc for increased productivity!
The study looked at how different levels of potassium and zinc fertilizers affect the growth and yield of wheat. They tested various combinations of these nutrients in the soil before planting the seeds. The results showed that applying higher levels of potassium and zinc significantly improved the growth and yield of wheat. Specifically, using 30 kg of potassium and 25 kg of zinc per hectare increased the number of leaves, weight of the crop at different stages, length of the ear head, number of grains per ear, and overall grain and straw yields. This suggests that adding these nutrients can enhance the productivity of late-sown wheat crops.
