The researchers studied how different cotton plants can be crossed to create hybrids with higher yields. They found that some hybrids had significantly better cotton yield and other important traits like bolls per plant. The hybrids GSHV-184 x GSHV-188, GSHV-184 x GSHV-192, GSHV-184 x G Cot 20, GSHV-192 x GN.Cot 22, and GSHV-188 x G Cot 20 showed the best performance and potential for future breeding programs.
