Sulphur boosts garlic growth and yield, increasing profits for farmers.
The study looked at how adding sulphur to garlic plants affected their growth and yield. By applying 60 kg of sulphur per hectare, the plants grew taller, had more leaves, larger bulbs, more cloves per bulb, and heavier cloves. The marketable and total yields were higher with this treatment, leading to increased profits. Overall, adding sulphur improved the growth and productivity of garlic plants.
