Revolutionizing wheat farming: Boosting nutrient content and uptake for higher yields.
The researchers studied how adding Azotobacter bacteria and vermicompost to wheat fields affects the nutrient levels in the wheat plants. They conducted an experiment using different combinations of nitrogen fertilizer, vermicompost, and Azotobacter on sandy loam soil. The results showed that increasing the fertilizer levels led to higher nutrient content and uptake in the wheat grain and straw. The treatment with the highest nitrogen level had the most significant impact on the N, P, and K content and uptake in the wheat plants.
