Brinjal farmers boost yields and profits with eco-friendly fertilizer mix.
The study looked at how different ways of feeding nutrients to brinjal plants affect their growth, yield, and profits. They tested seven methods, including using organic fertilizers like vermicompost and cow dung, along with chemical fertilizers. The plants that got a mix of inorganic fertilizers, cow dung, and a special nutrient mix grew the tallest and had the most branches. The plants that got half chemical and half organic fertilizers had the longest and heaviest fruits. The plants that got the special nutrient mix along with cow dung had the most fruits and highest yield. Overall, the method that used a mix of inorganic fertilizers, cow dung, and the special nutrient mix made the most money.
