Chemical engineering students' ethical decision-making trends in process safety dilemmas
The article explores how engineering students make decisions in process safety situations. The researchers used a questionnaire called the Engineering Process Safety Research Instrument (EPSRI) to measure students' moral reasoning in five safety dilemmas. They found that students' choices in these dilemmas varied, and some ethical decisions were particularly challenging for them. The study aims to understand why certain dilemmas are harder for students and to see how students' choices relate to their school's safety curriculum.
