New weed control method boosts wheat yield and slashes costs significantly!
The study aimed to find effective ways to control weeds in wheat fields during the Rabi season. Different herbicides and manual weeding methods were tested on wheat crops to see which worked best. The results showed that a combination of weeding at 20 days after sowing and using a specific herbicide at 30 days after sowing was most effective in reducing weed count and dry matter. This method also had high weed control efficiency compared to other treatments. Overall, the integrated weed management approach helped in reducing weed growth and improving wheat yield in the field.
