Organic and inorganic nutrients boost rice yield in sub-tropical foothills
A study was conducted to see how different types of nutrients affect rice growth in Jammu. They used organic sources like vermicompost and farmyard manure, as well as inorganic fertilizer. In the first year, inorganic fertilizer led to better rice yield compared to organic sources. However, in the second year, a combination of vermicompost and inorganic fertilizer showed the best results. This means that using a mix of organic and inorganic nutrients can help increase rice yield in the long run.
