Revolutionizing Rice Farming: Boosting Yields with Nutrient and Weed Management.
A study was conducted to see how different nutrient and weed management methods affect rice yield. They found that using 50% of phosphorus and potassium at sowing and 30-35 days after sowing resulted in the highest grain yield. Brown manuring also increased yield significantly. Among weed management practices, using pre-emergence herbicide pyrazosulfuron followed by biasi and hand weeding gave the best results. The combination of nutrient application, brown manuring, and weed management had a significant impact on grain yield. Overall, the best combination for high rice yield was 50% P and K application, brown manuring, and pre-emergence herbicide use.
