Sulphur and Zinc Combo Boosts Onion Yield and Quality Dramatically
A study looked at how adding sulphur and zinc to onion plants affected their growth and yield. They tested different levels of sulphur and zinc on onion plants in a field trial. The plants that received the most sulphur and zinc grew the tallest, had the most leaves, and produced the highest bulb yield. The combination of 40 kg of sulphur and 15 kg of zinc per hectare gave the best results in terms of leaf area and bulb yield. This shows that adding sulphur and zinc to the soil can help onion plants grow better and produce more bulbs.
