The study looked at how different types of fertilizers affect the yield and storage life of onions. Specifically, applying a mix of NPKS fertilizers with bio-fertilizers resulted in the highest total and marketable bulb yields. This approach also reduced weight loss in the bulbs and improved soil nutrient levels.
