Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in Uganda aims to understand how projects affect the environment. A study found gaps in EIA practice, like poor public involvement and political interference, leading to water pollution. Despite good laws and resources, EIA could be better used to protect the environment and achieve sustainable development.
