Politeness is important for good communication, showing awareness of others' feelings. In the movie "Wild," characters use positive politeness strategies to maintain good relationships. Positive politeness focuses on making others feel liked and respected. The study analyzed these strategies using qualitative research methods, focusing on what influences the characters' choices. The findings show that positive politeness strategies are used based on the closeness of relationships between characters in the movie.
