The researchers studied how different types of fertilizers affect the growth and yield of a potato variety called Kufri chipsona-1. They tested inorganic fertilizers and biofertilizers on the plants over two years. The results showed that using higher levels of inorganic fertilizers led to better growth and higher yields. The best results were seen with 100% NPK, which gave the highest marketable and total yields. On the other hand, using biofertilizers also had positive effects, with the best total yield and starch and dry matter percentages achieved with a specific biofertilizer treatment.
