The study looked at how Bt cotton affects soil in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. Bt cotton grown in vertisols soil type absorbed the most nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and sulfur compared to other soil types. Inceptisols soil type had the highest calcium uptake. Vertisols soil type also produced the highest seed cotton yield.
