The researchers conducted an experiment to find the best combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers for growing organic ginger. They tested different biofertilizers and fertilizer doses on the Gorubathan ginger variety. The results showed that using a combination of nitrogenous biofertilizer, phosphate solubilizing bacteria, and potassic mobilizer with inorganic fertilizer led to the tallest plants, highest number of tillers, most leaves, and highest plot yield. Specifically, the best results were seen with 100% NPK in combination with Azotobacter, PSB, and K mobilizer, as well as with a higher amount of farmyard manure (30t/ha).
