Organic Fertilizer Boosts Mustard Yields, Improving Food Security for Millions
The study tested different types of fertilizers on Indian mustard crops to see which one gave the best results. They found that using a combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers led to the highest seed yield and quality of the mustard plants. Specifically, applying 5 tons of farmyard manure and 3 tons of distillery compost per hectare resulted in the best outcomes in terms of seed yield, plant growth, and quality of the mustard crop.
